They Tried to Bury Me — They Didn’t Know I Was a Seed
There’s a moment in life when you realize the real battle wasn’t about money.
It wasn’t about contracts.
It wasn’t even about the career you built.
The battle was about who you would become when pressure demanded compromise.
And that moment came for me a year and a half ago.
After 18 years in a career I poured my life into — building relationships, building people, building outcomes — I made the decision to resign.
Not because I was tired.
Not because I was bored.
Not because I didn’t love what I did.
I resigned because I no longer recognized the integrity of what I was attached to.
There’s a grief that comes when you realize the thing you helped build is no longer built on the values that called you in. It’s like watching a beautiful home slowly rot from the inside, while everyone insists the paint on the outside still looks good.
And in that season, I learned something:
Integrity will always cost you. But compromise costs you more.
When You Leave with Integrity, Not Everyone Claps
Some people think when you leave something behind, the world will cheer. But if you leave with truth — not bitterness — but truth? If your departure exposes what others have been hiding?
They don’t clap.
They attack.
And that’s exactly what happened.
They came at us with daggers.
Not because we were wrong — but because we were right.
Not because we were powerless — but because we held influence.
Not because we were lying — but because we could speak what we knew.
So they tried to bury us.
They wanted our reputation destroyed.
They wanted our integrity questioned.
They wanted our voice silenced.
They believed if they could intimidate us legally, they could control the narrative publicly.
They put a gag order in place, hoping fear would do what pressure couldn’t.
But they didn’t know something:
I am not built to bow.
The Season of Silence
Let me tell you what people don’t understand:
Silence doesn’t mean surrender.
Sometimes silence is strategy.
Sometimes God will allow you to walk through a silent season — not to punish you — but to protect you while He builds you into someone unshakable.
During that time, we didn’t fall apart.
We got wise. We got aligned. We got strong.
We lawyered up. We documented. We stood firm. We refused to be bullied by intimidation dressed up as authority.
And the entire time, I kept hearing this in my spirit:
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper.”
That doesn’t mean no weapon forms.
It means it won’t finish you.
The Turning Point
After 10 long months of pressure, court dragging, and attempted character assassination… something happened.
They withdrew.
Voluntarily.
No win. No fees. No fines. No money collected.
Not a dime.
Even though they claimed we owed them $70,000 — they collected nothing.
And I learned a truth that I want to hand to every woman reading this:
When you know who you are, you stop being intimidated by who they pretend to be.
The Roar
That’s when I stepped out of that season not bruised — but transformed.
Because I didn’t just rise like a phoenix…
I rose roaring like a lion.
A lion does not explain herself.
A lion does not beg to be understood.
A lion walks in authority — because she knows what she survived.
Why I Stayed in Health & Wellness
Some people told us to walk away from the industry entirely.
But I couldn’t.
Because I don’t believe God placed me in health and wellness to sell products.
I believe He placed me here for stewardship:
To help restore health.
To help restore hope.
To help restore finances.
To help restore identity.
I believe abundance is not selfish.
It’s a tool.
It’s how we fund generosity.
It’s how we support family.
It’s how we build legacy.
It’s how we create impact.
And I believe health is sacred.
When your body is restored, your mind comes alive again.
Your energy returns.
Your confidence rises.
Your future opens.
That is why I’m here.
If You’re In Your “Buried” Season…
Let me speak directly to the woman who feels like life just tried to end her.
The betrayal.
The gossip.
The heartbreak.
The unfair battle.
The attack on your name.
Listen to me:
You are not buried. You are planted.
Seeds look buried before they bloom.
But something powerful happens under the dirt:
Roots form. Strength forms. Identity forms.
So if you’re in that season where people don’t see your future yet?
Good.
Let them underestimate you.
Your rising is coming.
And when you come out of this?
You won’t just glow.
You’ll roar.
With love and fire,
Gia Rising
